The comparison has sparked thousands of responses from Hip Hop fans

Comedian Lil Duval came through this morning on Twitter with one helluva hot take on Twitter, sparking debate amongst hip hop loving followers. The 44 year old gave praise to Florida emcee Kodak Black whilst comparing him to one of this generation's greats, Kedrick Lamar, stating that he believes that they're on the same level lyrically.

Duval goes on to explain that one of Kodak's new songs "Before I Go" featuring Rod Wave convinced him that Yak is as lyeically adept as K. Dot. Duval even goes on to reply to a fan who argued that "Kendrick has more spirituality in his music than Kodak", responding "No u trippin Kodak is most definitely spiritually tapped in. That's what makes him special."
