Social media sent prayers and support to Lil Tjay after it was reported that the rapper was shot in New Jersey on Wednesday.
Lil Tjay has been hospitalized after being shot in the early hours of Wednesday morning (June 22) in Edgewater, New Jersey. According to TMZ, the Bronx rapper is currently undergoing major surgery.
Tjayâs condition is currently unknown, but TMZ reports the shooting took place at two locations â a Chipotle Restaurant and a nearby Exxon Gas station â shortly after midnight on Wednesday. A second victim was injured in the shoot-out, although their identity has yet to be revealed.
Police are currently investigating the shooting and the suspects remain at large. A motive is not yet known.
Frequent collaborator and fellow Bronx native French Montana along with fans across social media sent prayers to Tjay after learning about the tragic situation.
